Today on the way to school I sat behind a man with fingernails so long they looked like acrylics but I could tell they were real and real dirty. Yuck. He also had so much body hair that from his shoulders to his hands was a black cloud. Lucky me he had on a tank top. Then at school I saw the biggest hummingbird in the World or at least that I have seen. It was as big as a sparrow. For a long time I watched it on all our flowers until his itty bitty friend came along, who must have been the boss hummingbird and made him leave. AMAZING. Today alsoI noticed the bananas in the back yard of the school are at least 30% bigger than last week. Of course, it is hot and rains a lot so everything is growing. Each day my opinion of CR changes. Somedays I think I want to come back again, at least to the school and study some more Spanish, and then I think of all the places in the World I still want to go and I am confused. This is not a vacation paradise no matter what you have heard. Remember it is still no more than a 2nd tier nation and much of it looks 3rd World.
